Flag - South Africa - (1928 - 1994)
After the Boer wars South Africa became a British colony. The first flag used the Union Jack and was widely disliked by the Afrikaners. The first Afrikaner majority government of the Union of South Africa changed the flag in use to an Orange, White and Blue tricolor with the Union Jack, Orange Free State and South African Republic flags in the center.

This flag continued to be used when the Union of South Africa transitioned to the Republic of South Africa in 1961. It was replaced in 1994 when the country was taken over by the Socialist African National Congress, lead by the communist terrorist Nelson Mandela, who had earlier served on the Central Committee of the South African Communist Party and was responsible for human rights violations, torture at ANC controlled concentration camps, executions and bombings leading to hundreds of deaths and injuries.
