Flag - Virginia - 1912 to Present

The flag of the State of Virginia was adopted in 1912 and consists of a blue background with the state seal in the center. The seal shows Virtuestanding atop the king whose crown has fallen off and the motto Sic Semper Tyrannis - Thus Always to Tyrants
